Accurate time tracking is essential for both employee payroll and precise job costing. PrairieHQ supports mobile time tracking with location verification.

Time Tracking Modes

Individual Mobile Clock-In:
- Technicians log into PrairieHQ on their phone.
- Tap Clock In at the start of their shift.
- Select current activity: Yard / Shop Time, Travel / Transit, Job Site Work, or Lunch / Break.
Crew Leader Group Clock-In:
- Foremen can clock in their entire crew simultaneously with a single tap.
- Ideal for field crews traveling together in a single service truck.

Geofencing & Location Verification

When a technician clocks in or out, PrairieHQ captures device GPS coordinates.
If clock-in occurs at a customer property, the punch is automatically linked to the active job for that property.
Managers can review punch locations on a map to verify arrival at designated job sites.

Timecard Auditing & Adjustments

Under Resourcing → Clock In/Out:

Managers can review daily time entries across all crews.
Missing punches (e.g., employee forgot to clock out at the end of the shift) are flagged with warnings.
Supervisors can edit punch timestamps and add explanatory audit notes.
