Customer Management

The Customers module serves as the central hub for managing your clients, commercial accounts, property portfolios, and service locations.

  • Filter accounts by status (Active, Prospect, Inactive).
  • Search by customer name, account number, contact phone, or address.
  • View lifetime value (LTV), open invoices, active work orders, and signed documents.

Creating a Customer

  1. Click the + New button in the sidebar or top bar, or click Add Customer within the customer list.
  2. Complete the customer details:
    • Account Type: Commercial Property, HOA, Retail Center, Industrial, or Residential.
    • Company / Account Name: The primary legal or business name.
    • Billing Address: Address for invoices and accounting sync.
    • Default Payment Terms: Net 15, Net 30, Due on Receipt, or Credit Card on File.

Managing Properties & Service Locations

A single commercial customer may have multiple property sites (e.g., retail plazas, office campuses, or residential developments).

Adding Properties

  1. Open the customer details page and click the Properties tab.
  2. Click Add Property.
  3. Specify:
    • Property Name / Identifier (e.g., "North Hills Plaza - Bldg B").
    • Physical Address & Coordinates (used for field routing and geofenced clock-in).
    • Site Access Notes (gate codes, lockbox combinations, parking restrictions).
    • Contact Persons (property manager, on-site facility superintendent).

Contact Directory

Under the Contacts tab of any customer, you can maintain multiple stakeholders:

  • Billing Contact: Recipient of digital invoices and accounting statements.
  • Decision Maker: Recipient for signing proposals and contract renewals.
  • Site Contact: On-site point of contact for daily crew check-ins.
